A Vote Against Time

So far, we have 600 objections since starting to the proposal submissions. Together, you can help us change the outcome.

Why?

Our story began in Summer of 2025, when plans were submitted by Egdon Resources, proposing gas drilling plans right at the heart of our Yorkshire Wolds.

Aiming to provide accurate factual information, demystify a lot of the technical information supplied by Egdon and to provide tangible support as to how Wolds residents can object, as well as giving a voice to the local community.

DLC currently works alongside, and is endorsed by Foxholes & Butterwick and Wold Newton parish councils.
